Our partnerships

Creating partnerships with businesses and organisations is a valuable strategy for the growth and development of our football club.

These partnerships can offer a range of benefits, including financial support, access to resources, networking opportunities, and exposure to new ideas and perspectives.

By working tirelessly to establish and maintain these partnerships, the clubs committee demonstrates their commitment to the club’s success and their proactive approach to seeking out opportunities for growth and improvement.

Additionally, fostering such collaborations can enhance the club’s reputation and visibility within the community, attracting more support and engagement from fans, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Overall, the effort invested in building these partnerships can yield significant long-term benefits for the football club.

One of our first collaborations was with tor sports.

The clubs committee met Will (owner of tor sports) over a coffee in the shadow of Rodney Parade. We loved Wills enthusiasm and his businesses flexibility. Being able to fully design our playing kit and be involved in the process was a key part of our relationship. The rest as they say, is history!

Through collaboration with clubs, passionate supporters, and dedicated organisations, Her Game Too Cymru are committed to raising awareness and fostering dialogue about inclusivity in football. Their central aim is to champion diversity at football matches across Wales, with a special focus on enriching the atmosphere of national team games. The club partnered with Her Game Too Cymru in September 2023.

The club was pointed in the direction of SPORTED by Mark Howells (our local councillor) and committee member. We had discussions in early 2023 with Polly Crook from SPORTED. The club became a full member and they have given us great advice and support regarding grants, legislation and digital connectivity.

Show Racism the Red Card was established in January 1996, thanks in part to a donation by then Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop. It is now the UK’s leading Anti-Racist Charity. The club has signed up as a partner and will take part in various calls of action throughout the year. In October last year the club supported its latest initiative.
